NeverRage is a small Open World online role-playing game with a linear beginning.
Stage 1: Settle Into NeverRage (Challenge Starts Jan 30th)
Stage 2: Co-op with the citizens to rebuild facilities
Stage 3: Upgrade Skills, Gather and craft, Rank Up, Interact with NPC, and take on Quests.
Stage 4: Lobby (Politically), and negotiate Expansion Policies with NPCs and other Avatars, Choose Sides (Ally with the Enemy's Home Castle, as a Mercenary).
Stage 5: Carryout Open World Competition Events (Moba Like PVP)
Stage 6: Unlock New Regions and Repeat the throne-survival-battle-arena experience in a semi-procedural game world with auto-scaling difficulty.

NeverRage is linked to a metaverse web project. It is not a Web3 project itself, but a simulation.
NeverRage combat consists of action and tab-targeting options for the two categories of players out there. In addition to that, it contains open-world exploration, crafting, building, political conflicts, campaigns, sieges, dungeons, and raids.
Since this is an indie passion project (by 1 developer)
The workflow focuses primarily on programming instead of graphic design; Yep, NeverRage is going to be a low poly, low graphic, stylized role-playing game.
This design decision will also allow the developer to focus on challenges (programming base content) such as:

World Size:
-NeverRage exists in one of 20 realms and is one of many potential Home Castles for Avatars.
Each Landmass has 2 Castle Land Plots, which are divided by a battlefield.
World Building Rules:
We want players to see each other often.
The Castles Do Not Go To War Unless Some Event SnowBalls and Eventually Trigger The Rage of A Castle Ruler.
Newer Realms are only visible to Castle that have domination status in a neighboring Realm.
Progression:
Avatars will gain experience as their controlling player/device-user completes tasks and activities in NeverRage.
This data is persistent and will reflect the player's progress in the virtual reality we are designing (follow us on LinkedIn for tech news).
Experience points will be granted to Avatars, to be spent on weapon mastery and to unlock higher level content.
Social Class Progression
- Device Users can help their Avatar gain social class standing within their Home Castle by gaining Charisma through
1: Donating to guilds
2: Feeding NPCs that are in need
3: Resurrecting Players/NPC that were defeated while carrying out Castle commands (-Command/King's Order)
5: Romancing a higher-class member (NPC only - for now, until we put age safety in place with our virtual reality platform registration/verification feature)
6: Supporting Castle specific initiatives

Exclusive Social Class Perks:
-Content Generation
-Upgrade Activation (Based on your level, as a Cleric, for example, you may be able to boost the success rate of enhancement by 100%)
-Family-Specific Trade Responsibilities (Paladins may be required to take on the responsibility of leading Crusades Sieges).
-NPC recognition (AI is very important to us, and we plan on designing out virtual reality with AI that will adapt to Avatars as they change states
-Ai might bow down to upper-class members of their home castle. Ai families might greet/invite-Avatars-to-launch allowing Users to choose to share in this
experience)
Weapon Mastery:
Performing action relating to a weapon category grants experience which results in gaining points to be spent in the weapon mastery system.
Points will be lost over time, or based on the players' Avatar actions.
Craft:
To craft, players will have to gather materials and minerals from various places, things, and creatures found in the world of NeverRage.
Aging System:
Every item found in NeverRage has an Age factor, which provides information about how long the item can remain intact if it wasn't used or consumed.

1v1 Duels and 1v1 Arena Matches can be negotiated

Castle Battles & Politics:
Based on the democratic decision of the upper-class NPCs and players of NeverRage, conflict can be carried out as a Siege, Infiltration, or Raid.
Siege: A Massive Online Battle Arena event that may last from an hour to a week depending on the Ranks of the Castles.
Infiltration: During Sieges, and depending on the conflict mode decided by the politicians of both Castles, combatants will have to infiltrate and
capture an Upper-Class Citizen of the opposing Castle.
Raid: Without permission, a Castle's guild may be selected to Raid a neighboring Castle with little to no resources from their Ruler. Raids are unorthodox,
and a failed raid may affect a guild's reputation in the world of NeverRage.
PVE:
---Territory Battles:
If a player defeats a pack of creatures, the player can duel and brand the champion of the pack. For the brand to be broken and reapplied,
the contending player needs to defeat the creatures, defeat the pack's champion, and request a duel with the Avatar who previously branded the champion.
---World Boss Competition:
Guilds may challenge each other for a reward based on how fast and efficiently they can defeat an Emissary of the gods of NeverRage.
Each guild will take turns, if it's an event, a Gladiator from each Guild will settle the competition, on-site, in a gladiator match.
---Hunts:
Hunts are carried out by players who specialize in defeating as many packs of creatures as possible.
As Avatars defeat packs, they gain the chance to acquire a 'Hunts Ticket.' The player who owns a Ticket will be allowed to invade the dwelling of a stronger version of the Creature/Emissary that their Avatar has been defeating.
All of these features and more will only be possible based on the developer's programming skills since art costs billions.

Exploration and Grind Loop:
Challenger & Machine Learning Ai System
You can explore and kill enemies.
The enemies can be branded with mind control spells, to make them steal resources from their leader when they respawn.
How it works:
Each herd has a Champion who stays inside their dwelling.
The home of these herds has a rune that gives the Champion commands to the leader.
The boss does not have to visit these herds because it has a soul stone that can just be triggered to reset the state of herds.
Knowing this, you can alter the soul stone once you have subdued the Champion of the herd. The effectiveness of this incantation takes 1 full day. At the end of the day, if they go back to their homes, for the night, they will collect a resource that you request. The next time you come, you can slay the Champion for protection payments or ask kindly with a charisma throw. Depending on how they decide to react to you, they can see you and allow you to take your bounty, they can be in the middle of handing the bounty over and change their mind, they can bait you into an ambush, they can collaborate with a player to hunt you instead, they can just refuse to give you anything because they don’t have any, they can lie to you, or beg you.
After that encounter, the Boss has a chance of noticing and recruiting a personal guard for the leader or raise the power scale and enhancing the control of the soul stone to ensure that the leader fights you to its last breath next time.
SoulStone Parameters:
Altering SoulStone brands the Champion of the Minions.
When an enemy is branded, to change the brand symbol, the Brander must be challenged.
The enemy first has to be subdued to interact with its SoulStone.
Players who don’t want to dual can just defeat the minions collect your loots and go their separate way, instead of summoning the champion. To summon the champion you need to activate the rune and survive several waves of attacks from its minions to prove your worth. No one can help during this time.
Feats as Reward
Feats can be gained from Boss level enemies.
-Temporary access to Feats can be made when performing raids and conquest/crusades
-You need to spend currency for this temporary buff
SoulStone Duals:
You can choose to protect and when another player arrives, they will request to challenge the brander…and a messenger will be sent to you to go and fight the challenger. Winning will increase your chance that the enemies will bring back the bounty. Losing just transfers the brand to the challenger. This only happens to enemies near dungeons and world bosses. If you repeat this for a while, every camp will know about you and the bosses of these enemy camps will automatically grant you a challenger scroll, which is different from a hunts ticket.
Challenger Scrolls:
This is a one v one challenge between you and the boss of the enemies. You could bring allies along. If you die, the scroll burns up and there is no rematch. If you win, you instantly get some blood ruby - Gladiator pvp category gear token and you get a point on the Challenger leaderboard-which at the end of the season-grants you a title and some runes.
The bosses also have a list of enemy boss targets, as well as a list of assistants, every once in a while the boss will share its challenger invitation scroll for one of its targets. Only three people can join the boss during that invitation. To be one of the three, you must slay the target multiple times in the duration allotted before the invitation event.
Boss Invasion Challenge Event - Rewards & Leaderboard:
You can gain titles for helping the boss defeat its enemy while keeping your stats at a specific level, and the boss's health at a specific level, or, doing one of the two.
You also get some rewards from successful evasion, and a rapport point increases your chance of success if you could ask to perform necromancy or soul bound with the boss (from the god that created it).
Hunter Challenge Scroll
Hunts are for weapon loot drops, and grant pet/mounts/cosmetic tokens at the end of the season- which can be used to purchase that specific pet in the pet store.
Enemy grind-
Enemies around the world grant common weapons schemas, treasure maps, labor points if you kill them, and resources for crafting.
Dungeons Drop Enhancement resources, and zone point- which will lead into the Ai region preparing for conquest. At the end of these conquests, a BattleRoyal will be set up- where players can loot as much as they want, and keep the loot if they are the sole survivor.
-The rule of the Castle will give in, and allow you to explore its treasure ground (multilevel dungeons), but mid-way through, the god of that rule will notice and will step in to wipe everyone. The leader will come in later and pick the survivors up, to keep its promise.
